Ingrained in our firm culture is a dedication to pro bono public service. With participation in a broad range of pro bono public and community service activities, we take pride in providing both legal services and financial support to the community.
We have provided representation to disadvantaged clients in matters involving housing, education, social services, child custody, and landlord/tenant, among others. Whether attending court proceedings, drafting motions or preparing depositions and pleadings, we navigate the complex system that is the law to level the playing field.
Our firm has also been active in a wide variety of charitable endeavors, working with, sitting on boards of many types of civic, community, cultural, governmental and educational organizations. For example, we regularly speak to first time homebuyers at the Latin United Community Housing Association (LUCHA) and endeavor to provide general information about immigration and family law to community groups.
Overall, the central aim of the firm's pro bono policy is to fulfill the obligation to assist through pro bono work those individuals and groups unable to afford legal services thereby improving the lives of the less fortunate.
